We are a small team of two people and 3 years ago we left our jobs to work on WeHanzi full-time. 

When we decided on pricing, we wanted to make the app as accessible as possible while at the same time providing a way for us to keep being able to work on the app adding new features and writing new lessons.

We feel that a subscription model is the best way to achieve that and we hope it will provide a reliable monthly income that will allow us to work on the app. It means that as an active learner, you are directly contributing to the new content that is being created every week.
